Happy Wednesday to all my readers. Thanks for checking in at this mid-week point.
Here are my HHHs (Helpful Hump-day Hints) for this week. This week I am concentrating on organizing bigger projects.
HHH#1 Make a list of the large projects you want to tackle this summer. Save a step by making this list in your calendar so not only is it on your to-do list, it now has a deadline. (*For more on how I organize my online Google calendar click here: How to Easily Keep Track of your Schedule.) This can include major cleaning projects or overhauling storage systems.
HHH#2 Prioritize in your closets. For boxes and storage label KEEP, SORT, TOSS. Make a commitment to downsize a certain number of boxes. If you don’t have a label system in place – research how you want to label your boxes. In your clothes closet, separate what you are keeping and what you are giving to good will. This should include shoes, bags / purses, belts, and any other accessories. Haven’t worn it in over a year? Time to say good-bye!
Did you do any HHHs to get a jump start on your weekend to-do list? Make a comment and let me know. I’ll be giving away another prize for the 200th comment, so keep them coming! (Click here to see what I gave away last time: The 100th Comment Contest.)
Happy Hump-Day!
Big project: Clean/Organize my Garage! I’ve made a “committment” to purge something by each trash day (for me, twice a week). So this is my continual deadline. Just putting something out twice now has already made a BIG dent.
