Ok – I have been MIA for quite awhile! Life just seemed to take over and finding time to blog just wasn’t happening. The funny thing is that all the projects I have been working on would be great blog material!
So, I’m going a little backwards here. I know we are all on to Christmas, snowmen, candy canes and such – but I still haven’t shared my Thanksgiving projects and pics!
Here are the place cards I made for all of the Thanksgiving dinner attendees.
There was something I didn’t like about the owl eyes on Olivia’s card when I first made it. I experimented with different colors and then I found these eyes in one of my crafting boxes. Perfect!
My niece came to visit while I was making these. She wanted to make some for her Thanksgiving dinner, too. I think she did a great job.
Here is the whole table for our Thanksgiving feast this year. Thanks to my sister and brother-in-law in Atlanta for hosting and for getting Olivia such a nice place setting!
We had a great time. Here is a pic of Olivia and I on the train ride home.
Thanks for stopping by and reading. I have more recipes to post and updates on all the Christmas crafting I have been doing.
For our Thanksgiving dinner, I made placecards out of fabric autumn leaves. I bought an inexpensive fall leaf wreath from Walmart (marked down because it was late fall, it was only a few dollars!) and cut the leaves off. Then I used a paint marker to write each guest’s name on a leaf. The whole project probably only took 15 or 20 minutes and they were very cute!
great idea! I want to see pictures!
