Happy Wednesday everyone – I don’t know about you but I am excited that the weekend is almost here.  Just a few more days of work and then I can get back to work on the house!  As Olivia’s second birthday party approaches, I am trying to spruce up our backyard a bit. 

So today’s Helpful Hump-day Hints with have to do with gardening!

I did a little research online and have found the following Gardening Tip links that will be the HHHs for today:

HHH#1 – Gardening on the Cheap from HGTV – I love HGTV and I love when you can do things cheaply – so this link was right up my alley!

HHH#2 – 15 Really Dumb Gardening Mistakes from Southern Living – I am clueless about gardening – the last time I did anything in a garden I was in elementary school planting pumpkins in our backyard garden with my mother.  So I need a list like this one!

HHH#3 – Gardening 101: 5 Gardening Basics for Beginners from Simple Homemade – what caught my eye here? “For Beginners”  I also liked the final advice she gave – it’s OK to start out small.

HHH#4 –17 easy-to-start seeds for beginner gardeners from Mother Nature Network – this article tells you which veggies or plants/ flowers to start out with to be successful.
