I know – I’ve been gone about a month! Life just caught up with me – you have to live a life in order to write about one, right? Happy Friday! Here are My Friday Favorites, posted one day late!
On TV – I can’t even watch Bachelorette – I am so disinterested – not even a Katie Holmes look-a-like is making this storyline appealing to me. I NEED SOME TV IN MY LIFE. BUT – since I’ve been a way for a few weeks – we haven’t even talked about this:
Who invited Dick Whitman to the Hershey pitch???
Nothing else is on. Nothing. But Suits starts back next week so that makes me happy.
On the Computer –
- This is my favorite time of year to online Christmas shop!!! I know that sounds crazy – but right after 4th of July thru August are the BEST clearance sales for summer stuff – and it’s good to take a break from the peppermint mocha coffee and candy cans striped candles you usually give! Some of my favorites right now are: Sur la Table, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn – just to name a few.
In the Kitchen –
- 20 Summer Salad Recipes from two peas & their pod – I love salads in the summer, especially ones that have fruit in them. I found this great post and can’t wait to try some of these out! The blueberry corn salad is one I’ve never tried – looks very yummy! I repinned the pic of it to my Pinterest board :Recipes. Check out the rest of the salads in this post too.
On the Wish List –
- As mentioned above – Sur la Table — I might be Christmas shopping – but I always find things I want to!!! A green stockpot – LOVE!
For the Kids –
- Martha Stewart’s #CraftsforKids Contest Winners – Fun with Felt from @craftynbeyond
Ok, that’s it for My Friday Favorites today, it’s a slim list this time – just getting back into the swing of things!
Leave me a comment below and let me know what your favorite things are this week.
Next up this week – Olivia’s Under the Sea Birthday Party and updates on our house!!
Thanks for reading!
I usually hate summer TV as well, but True Blood and Dexter are both on right now on Sunday nights. Those are two of my favorites!
Ok – I don’t watch either of those. If I could only pick one to start – which should it be? Second question – if I threw downton abbey in there would your answer stay the same?
