I know it’s been a month since Olivia’s birthday party. I finally got all the pictures together! To see the planning stages check out my post: Party Inspirations. Let me jump right in to the Under the Sea themed birthday party.
Invitations, Name Labels and Thank You Cards by Tiny Prints
Baby Area – Blanket and a Book Box. Under the Sea themed books!
Balloons. There are some mylar fish you can’t see. Don’t have a great shot of them – since they flew up into the air in the middle of the party…ahhh – $$ well spent 😦 This is also the craft table where kids created their own Under the Sea inspired art projects.
Drink Coolers – some for kids – some for adults.
This is what I decided to do with the blue fish from my inspiration folder. I printed labels with all of Olivia’s friends names, assigned each one a fish, then affixed them to an extra piece of wrapping paper I wasn’t using. We hung the whole thing from the tree in the backyard.
Olivia and her cousins. (And a good shot of Olivia’s Under the Sea outfit- seahorse romper!)
Menu cards – with images from the invitations
Reusing the pace card holders from our wedding!!! Read about them here: Silver Ship Place Card Holders … good thing I went around and picked them all up after my reception!
Cupcakes – by Dominique’s Delights
Red Velvet Crab and Chocolate Turtle Cupcakes- inspired by the invitations and thank you notes
Fish Bowl Jello Desserts – idea found on Pinterest and originally from Martha Stewart Fish Bowl Gelatins. Of course hers look better – she’s Martha Stewart. What can I say? I try.
Favor Beach Pails included bubbles, sunglasses and goldfish crackers
Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate Olivia’s second birthday! We hope you had fun Under the Sea!
