My Friday Favorites 05/04/12

Happy Friday!  Let’s get right to it – after a week off, here are my Friday Favorites from the past seven days:

On TV – Once Upon a Time is back, but only one episode left! I can’t wait to see how they end this first season. Will Pinocchio tell more lies?  Will Emma start to believe? I’m finally caught up on Celebrity Apprentice – and I must say – I don’t like ANY of the five remaining contestants!  Clay Aiken for the win?  Lisa, Aubrey, Arsenio, ugh!  I guess Clay is the best choice at this point. Mad Men– poor, poor Sally Draper.  The scene where she came out ready to go to the award ceremony…all Don could see was mini-Bettes.  So grown-up, too bad Julia Ormond, her step-granny, ruined her more than she already is (if that’s even possible!) And I only have one question about Dancing with the Stars – WHO is voting for Half-Pint??!??

Ok, ok … my favorite this week is:

  • Scandal – insider deals, presidential affairs, illegitimate babies, plane crash investigations, and now murder.  The title says it all.  Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope.  This show is climbing in my ratings book. Shonda Rhimes does it again.

On the sales rack –

  • Macy’s – great Mother’s Day Sale items from fashion, items for the home, jewelry, handbags and much more – save even more when you use the promo code MOM.

Places to go –

  • Robin Hood at Arden Theatre Company. Recommended for ages 5 and up.  An entertaining, awesome live theatre experience. Plus a Target 2 for 1 deal makes it affordable fun for the whole family.

What were your favorite things this week? Leave a comment and let me know.

Thanks for reading!

Ok, on Once-Emma is driving me nuts! I get it all seems impossible but now an adult is telling you it’s for real, what’s the harm in tryin to believe? But then the show would be over. I can’t belies there is only 1 more episode left.
Mad Men-my mouth dropped on several things. What a mess everyone is, but a mess I love:)
Robin Hood-I’m seeing it on Sunday, I hope, with Joe and Lainie. Just watched the trailer on YouTube and it looks like a lot of fun.

Emma is driving me nuts too – but I have asked myself – how will this show go for more seasons? Mad Men is CRAZY – Omg – Julia Ormond was insane/great.
So glad you are seeing Robin Hood… I won’t be there 😦 but I hope you enjoy it – it’s a lot of fun!
