It’s midweek, that means the weekend is almost here! Happy Wednesday! The weather is getting colder, you need an extra blanket at night. Daylight Savings is soon, so the morning will start to be dark again. I don’t know about you, but this is the time of year I love to stay in bed in the morning! Here are some hints about things to do at night – to give you and extra few minutes in bed in the morning! Of course, we all have to get up and get ourselves and the rest of the families ready for the day. But if you switch some things to your night time routine, you may get an extra few minutes in the morning to either – stay in bed – or enjoy your pumpkin spice coffee in peace while the rest of the family sleeps!
Here are my HHHs (Helpful Hump-day Hints) for this week.
HHH#1: Pick out what you are going to wear the next day and do any ironing necessary.
HHH#2: Make lunches so all you have to do is grab and go!
HHH#3: Set the coffeepot so it’s all ready. Most have timers so it can begin brewing when you are hitting the snooze button. If yours is old fashion and does not, still set it up and just push start on your way to the shower.
HHH#4: Wash, blow-dry, curl – whatever you do – to your hair. I do this a lot and then just put my hair in a shower cap when showering in the morning. My hair stylist taught me an even better trick! After putting your hair in the shower cap, wrap it with a towel (like you do when you get out of the shower and your hair is wet) Take a shower with the towel on your head! Seems strange but it really keep the moisture out and your hair still looks like you just did it! Thanks Tracey!
What do you do at night to save time in the morning? I am always looking for suggestions in this area. Leave a comment and tell me what routines your family has.
Happy Hump-Day! Thanks for reading.
